Job Summary of General Manager:

This position is responsible for driving profitable store growth by leading all facets of store operations including customer engagement, merchandising, product management, and team development. The role ensures alignment between brand vision and in-store execution while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This leadership position requires a data-driven approach to managing performance metrics, fostering team excellence, and driving operational standards that enhance efficiency and compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Manager:

• Analyze store performance data to identify opportunities and develop strategies with the leadership team to achieve key performance indicators.
• Drive profitable sales through accurate forecasting, scheduling, and execution of store operations.
• Manage the store’s operating budget and ensure adherence to all financial targets and performance metrics.
• Source, select, and develop high-performing talent to build a strong, productive team environment.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to improve individual and team performance.
• Lead the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and brand initiatives to ensure consistent execution across all departments.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging team culture that reflects brand values and supports community involvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on maximizing efficiency, service quality, and team productivity.
• Perform Service Leader responsibilities, ensuring a seamless customer experience through all channels.
• Understand the competitive landscape and promote the brand within the local market.
• Utilize OMNI tools and capabilities to support a frictionless, multi-channel customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance and operational standards are met across all functional areas.

Qualifications and Experience of General Manager:

• 3–5 years of experience in a retail leadership role with a proven track record of driving results.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both customers and employees effectively.
• Ability to move throughout the store, stockroom, and office as needed; handle up to 30 lbs and work around chemicals as required.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and business travel.
• Strong business acumen and operational insight.
• Effective time management, prioritization, and planning skills.
